“You are art. Express yourself.”
How it all started …
I’ve been in love with clothes and playing dress-up for as long as I can remember.
My first teacher was Stacy London on What Not to Wear, and as the oldest of three girls, I had the perfect test subjects for my new skills.
Styling ticked all the boxes for my love of creativity, self-expression, and personal change. I was obsessed with the transformations I saw and how something as simple as clothing could shift the way women viewed themselves.
Back then, I didn’t know that styling was a career path I could follow. After years of being in retail and sales, I had the opportunity to start working with clients one-on-one. It has been the greatest joy of my life to connect with so many incredible women and to help them rediscover what makes them beautiful and unique.
My brand ethos.
Your style is yours to create.
My goal isn’t to make you stylish according to opinions of what’s on-trend, a list of necessities, or what your coworker looks good in. I don’t want you to copy my style either. As an expert, I want to share my advice, tips, and things that have worked for me, but my job is to translate and rework those ideas to help you discover and develop your personal style.
There is no one else in the world with the exact same experiences, preferences, and needs. Your style is made up of the silhouettes that flatter your figure, the colors you love and make you feel good, your favorite items, and your lifestyle.
Your style is an expression of YOU.
what we can do …
Change your perspective.
Everything comes back around. It’s just rebranded, restyled, and in a new color. So much of what we aren’t wearing has great potential. It’s just poorly utilized or has become boring and stale because we’re only wearing it one way. A little creativity can give you a whole new outfit — or outlook!
Create space.
When we hold onto things that don’t fit and don’t feel good, we’re taking up space that could be used for something better! If something really isn’t working, we don’t hold onto it longer than we need to. We express gratitude and move on.
Build your foundation.
Taking the time to lay the groundwork and get clear on what works and what you actually want make the choices about your wardrobe faster, easier, and more intentional.
Evolve … together.
Community makes us stronger, and more ideas lead to better ideas. I’m always enlisting the help of my peers, friends, and clients to keep me inspired, improving, and thinking outside the box.
Express yourself!
In the end, it’s not really about the clothes, but the woman in them. Clothing is the tool, the medium we choose to use for self-expression. And what great style really comes down to is how you feel about yourself.
